Vasanta Pundarika

CEO, Lotuspring

Vasanta Pundarika is the CEO of Lotuspring, where she champions the growth of healthcare services companies that are focused on improving healthcare for women by refining their financial goals and guiding them through their capital markets strategy. Vasanta has extensive experience from spending nearly two decades at the intersection of finance and healthcare and uses that expertise and financial focus to drive healthcare forward. Previously, Vasanta was Head of Healthcare at Matrix Capital Markets Group, a boutique, advisory-focused investment bank, where she advised founder-owned, family-owned, and provider-owned businesses in healthcare services, primarily across various behavioral health sectors, on their exit strategies. Prior to that, she began her career at Raymond James and its predecessor firms, Morgan Keegan and Shattuck Hammond Partners, where she advised healthcare services companies across various sectors, spanning from behavioral health to ancillary services to large health systems and academic medical centers, on their capital and corporate strategies. Vasanta is a frequent speaker at in-person behavioral health, general healthcare, and finance conferences, as well as various webinars and podcasts. Vasanta serves on the Board of Directors of Sakhi for South Asian Survivors, a NYC-based not-for-profit. She serves as Co-Class-Agent and is on the Annual Giving Committee for Princeton University, her alma mater. She is a member of Chief, an organization of women leaders, and of WBL, the Women Business Leaders of the US Healthcare Industry. Vasanta graduated with Honors with an A.B. Degree in Anthropology from Princeton University.
