Christian Elam

General Partner, Bachmanity Capital

Christian is the founding general partner at Bachmanity Capital, focusing on deep tech, space, government, and national security deals. Prior to founding Bachmanity, he became the youngest person to attend Stanford for an exclusive computer science program at 10 years old, half the age of everyone else. He also launched successful apps on the App Store as a teenager, worked as a Senior iOS Engineer at 15, and founded two startups, one of which was venture-backed. Christian graduated from UC Berkeley-Haas School of Business at 18.

Christian has a track record in investing, transitioning from trading equities to angel investing and being an LP. At the request of many founders and other investors, he founded Bachmanity Capital. Besides his business pursuits, Christian is dedicated to philanthropy, particularly in mental health and youth advocacy. He has written significant portions of the Kids Online Safety Act, marking the first time in US history that youth representation has been formally built into federal policy.

Christian is on the task force for the Department of Energy to allocate the Inflation Reduction Act funds, is a co-chair for Concordance, raising $1 billion to help lower re-incarceration rates, and is an advisor for Techstars, Nvidia accelerator, One Mind, Elected Officials to Protect America, various foundations and family offices, and other philanthropic efforts.
