Margaret Hines

Founder, Mindly & Angel Investor

Margaret is a serial entrepreneur, investor, multi-award-winning filmmaker, and mental health activist. Most recently, she co-founded Mindly, a digital SaaS platform that serves as an all-in-one wellness and performance platform for corporate managers. In 2020, she founded BrainWellth, a digital narrative strategies firm that focuses on the power of storytelling to transform workplace culture and wellness. She is also the co-founder of the multi-award-winning multimedia production company, 17th & Montgomery Productions.


With a 15-year background in private equity and venture capital, Margaret is an investor and entrepreneur who has a significant focus on influence and impact in the wellness space. She invests in film projects and businesses that champion wellness and mental health. She has served on the boards of the American Association of Suicidology, the Suicide Prevention Resource Center, Crisis Text Line, and the Lived Experience Advisory Committee of the U.S. Department of Defense. She currently sits on the board of Half the Story, a digital wellbeing program pioneering the way for Gen Z’ers.
